ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver a comprehensive on-boarding program to provide employees with consistent and baseline information about the organization, mission, vision, and core values.
- Support the design and execution of pulse surveys (net promoter) and provide tools and resources to improve targeted actions to address gaps in engagement.
- Coach managers and leaders on methods for improving engagement.
- Analyze voluntary and involuntary turnover and the employee full life experience.
- Work with assigned divisions to understand trends in data (exit interviews, engagement surveys, focus groups, etc.) and identify opportunities for an improved employee experience.
- Support the alignment of engagement, culture, and inclusion and diversity initiatives with HR strategies/policies/programs.
- Organize employee events and functions that align with organizational/divisional strategic goals.
- Design employee programs and events that are driven by data from surveys, trends, and feedback.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, other related fields, or equivalent years’ experience
- Experience working in a professional level Human Resources Role
- Experience communicating and interacting with various levels of an organization.
- Experience building, developing, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-5 years of professional level Human Resources Experience
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification or SHRM-Certified Professional.
