Human Resources and Recruiting Coordinator Role:
The Nexplore Human Resources and Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for full cycle recruiting and onboarding of Nexplore Instructors nationwide. Committed to talent acquisition in line with Nexplore’s mission to foster the joy of learning, the HR & Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for job postings, interviewing, onboarding, and maintaining accurate files for each candidate and hire. Working closely with the Program Success Manager, the HR & Recruiting Coordinator will ensure compliance with each client/site-specific background check, fingerprinting, and other requirements. Reporting to the COO, the HR Recruiter plays a key role in efficiently and successfully staffing Nexplore Instructors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the full hiring cycle for Nexplore Instructors across programs, including:
- Post and manage job openings across various channels including national recruitment sites (such as Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.), university/college career centers, and other platforms for all relevant Instructor positions
- Conduct interviews to identify qualified, mission-aligned candidates who meet Nexplore hiring criteria
- Perform reference checks and background checks
- Onboard new instructors ensuring they have completed and submitted all required paperwork specific to Nexplore and the sites where they will be teaching
- Maintain accurate, organized and compliant files
- Support Program Success Managers to staff programs by filling Nexplore Instructor assignments, completing schedules, and supporting solutions for instructor absences, showing a deep understanding of the availability and work capacity of Nexplore Instructors living in a region
- Liaise with Nexplore’s clients (site coordinators, enrichment directors, etc.) to ensure all paperwork requirements are met, including providing COIs, contract submission, W9s, instructor clearance, online safety, etc.
- Support with additional projects, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
- 3+ years of HR and recruiting experience (preferably in education)
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning
- Ability to anticipate and approach all problems with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, manage time, and multi-task with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker able to manage competing priorities and interests simultaneously
- Experience working in education (teacher/leader/instructor/etc.) preferred
- Demonstrate strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in hiring practices
- Experience and proficiency with Google Workspace
