Hotel AKA NoMad, the newest addition to the AKA Hotels+Hotel Residences portfolio, opening in May 2023 is hiring a Mini Bar (Honor Bar) Attendant.

The Mini Bar Attendant will provide guests with exceptional, quality service while creating a memorable experience.

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Stock and replace all consumed items, inspect, move and clean the mini bars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
• Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of mini bar stock.
• Responsible for replenishment of Mini bar items in rooms.
• Responsible for maintaining the Mini bar Pantry in terms of par stock, stacking and cleanliness.
• Ensure products in Mini-Bar are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary.
• Maintain assigned Mini-Bar carts.
• Maintain and complete assigned floors and rooms requesting Mini-Bar service.
• Ensure rotation of all mini-bar products.
• Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storage rooms.
• Report all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues or guest request.
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of Point of sale systems, Handheld POS, inventory and store requisition software and reporting tools.
• Complete daily task and return all devices and reports to the manager at the end of shift.
• Perform monthly inventory.
• Previous experience in hotel industry.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
• Ability to operate Point of Sale system and understand the procedures.
• Physically able to meet the demands of the job, such as lifting liquor boxes and standing for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English, verbal/written
