Home Manager

Full Time Tuesday- Saturday 4pm-12am / Columbus
$14.75-$15.75 per hour.
At ViaQuest Residential Services we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in our intermediate care facilities. The Home Manager performs all of the responsibilities and duties of the Direct Support Professional, and in addition holds primary responsibility for areas of health care/nutrition and household management for the individuals served. The Home Manager is responsible to assist the Program Manager in maintaining consistency in the provision of supports and services to the individuals served, and in communicating with employees and team members.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with coaching and development of employees on an ongoing basis.
- Provide supervisor with input on Direct Support Professional performance evaluations, as requested
- Assist with training new employees in areas of responsibility and with individual and site specific information.
- Attend team meetings, providing input and follow up as needed
- Assist the individuals served with maintaining a clean and safe home
Requirements for this position include:
- High School diploma/GED required
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Supervisory or management experience in a group home setting Required.
- Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
