Bluebonnet Health Services is a well-respected company within the hospice and home health community and we are looking for a full-time (8 am-5 pm, M-F) LVN to support our Home Health division in Waco, Texas.
LVN:
Bluebonnet Health Services is a well-respected company within the hospice and home health community and we are looking for a full-time (8 am-5 pm, M-F) LVN to support our Home Health division in Waco, Texas.
LVN:
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of patients in their homes according to the action plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct ongoing patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care for the patient
Job Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
Licensure:
- Current State license as an LVN and a current valid Driver's License
- BLS Certification
Experience: One year of experience in a clinical care setting is preferred. Home health experience preferred.
Skills: Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
