Overview:Nelson Mullins seeks a Help Desk Analyst to erve as the primary point of contact for providing technical assistance and support to the staff and attorneys in our law firm to resolve technical support to users experiencing issues with hardware, software, network connectivity, and other IT -Related matters.
A Day in the Life:
The Helpdesk Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for providing technical assistance and support to the staff and attorneys in our law firm. This role requires excellent customer service skills, technical knowledge, and a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The Helpdesk Analyst will be responsible for managing incoming requests, handling phone calls, emails, and tickets, and ensuring that the firm's technology infrastructure functions smoothly and efficiently. This position will require strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently. This role will be the primary first contact with users so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
The IT Department is a collaborative environment. This position will work with the Helpdesk Manager and other IT team members to identify trends, improve process, and implement best practices. In order to contribute to the team you must maintain a working knowledge of the first applications, systems, and technology infrastructure that includes specialized legal software.
We Know You:
The idea candidate will have a minimum of 2 years working in a helpdesk or technical support role preferably in a law firm environment. This role will require various technical skills that include Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common desktop applications. Any experience working with legal software applications such as document management, time and billing, and case management systems would be a big plus.
