Caregiving assistant or STNA

Gilcrest Adult Day center – Doylestown, Ohio

Spending time getting to know them, doing crafts, playing board games, other activities, and assisting in their daily activities of life?

We are looking for a self driven, caring, compassionate, and loving individual to join our staff here at The Gilcrest Adult Day Center! Who gives our seniors the love and care they so need while here during the day.

Job Type: Full time, Monday - Friday

Hours: Range from 7am-3:15pm or 8am-4:15pm

***NO WEEKENDS NO MAJOR HOLIDAYS***

Responsibilities:

• Assisting individuals with activities of daily living ranging from occasional verbal reminders to total assistance with personal care tasks, such as; bathing, toileting, eating, etc.
• Provide formal and informal training and assistance with social interaction skills: talking, writing, leisure activities, treatment toward self and others, etc.
• Provide supervision and support to individuals.
• Ensure a healthy, clean, and safe environment for individuals and other staff.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or minimum of 2 years experience in a related field.
• Current driver's license and eligible to meet driving insurance standards
• STNA or personal care experience
