The Surgery division is seeking a Lead Hardware Integrator to join the Electrical Engineering team that powers the top surgical imaging solution, a.k.a. OEC C-arms, in the world. In this role, you will work with the Electrical Engineering team and coordinate the Hardware activities for the programs. Has responsibility for hardware delivering plan and execution, Build of Material (BOM) maintains, material tracking, etc.

Job Description

The Lead Hardware Integrator works with the Electrical Engineering team and coordinates the Hardware activities for the programs. Has responsibility for hardware delivering plan and execution, BOM maintains, material tracking, etc.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

  • Prepares and owns the Hardware Integration Plans for the programs.
  • Reports HW integration risks and issues.
  • Lead engineering prototype tracking and availability.
  • Maintains Parts Tracker, Product Structure, Release Schedule, supports identifying long lead items.
  • Ensures detailed prototype material tracking and availability for bay and target integration. Regulatory testing, verification, and validation
  • Works with Manufacturing to obtain production material for Verification &Validation
  • Works with Lead System Designer (LSD) and maintains excel BOM of product, including BOM structure and parts tracker (essential output, spare yes/no, drawing and BOM release schedule, long lead items identify, etc.)
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years working experience in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
  • 2 years relevant work experience
  • Has the hardware design knowledge and background
  • Has experience in medical device industry
  • Proficient in the use of PPT, excel and project software
  • Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion
