Ally 1 Disaster Solutions in Cedar City Utah is accepting applications for an General Labor Construction

Looking for a team player with a positive attitude.

We are looking for a Mitigation Technician (General Labor - Construction) to join our team. Our Mitigation Techs (General Labor - Construction) are first to arrive on site, are quick to respond, assess the damage to the property, and work with the customer to help stabilize the damage. We want someone who is self motivated and able to solve problems in accordance to industry standards, someone who can act quickly. Our Techs work in a team and collaborate all day as there is quite a bit of coordination that goes into stabilizing damage and helping customers understand next steps in the restoration process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Daily response to customers who have had water, mold, fire and wind damage properties both during and after business hours
• Drive company vehicles
• Assess damage and work with Insurance Companies and our team to develop a plan based on each customers needs
• In the case of a water loss, set up and use specific equipment to dry the structure successfully to industry standards
• As necessary perform demolition of affected areas
• Act in a professional manner with all clients and team members
• Document with notes and pictures of progress in job management software
• Communicate job updates to customers and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Occasional emergency after hour or weekend work as required with great bonus structure
• Be willing and able to be on call on a rotation basis
• Must be able to pass a background check and random drug test
• Ability to lift 50lbs and move large equipment in and out of trucks and homes/buildings
• Past performance in repair, maintenance, or construction field is desirable and could qualify for a higher pay rate
• Good communications skills
• Proficient use of technology, computers, software, systems, and mobile devices
• Positive attitude

IICRC Certified, Asbestos certified, lead certified and/or other applicable certifications in the restoration industry could qualify for a higher pay rate.
