Center Point Energy* is looking for a Gas Transmission Integrity Engineering Manager to join our Team, located in Evansville, Indiana.
You will have the ability to manage the transmission integrity program for Regulated Operations. Responsible for identifying and evaluating risks and subsequent activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes. Ensure facility records accuracy and completeness and able to evaluate for risk reduction recommendations.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Monitor TIMP regulations and ensures compliance including appropriate company procedures and standards.
- Evaluate the risk and ranks all regulated operations transmission facilities in accordance with proper regulations.
- Optimize, manage and prioritize regulated operations facility modernization programs, materials verification activities and pipeline assessment activities.
- Responsible for processes, procedures and training documents involved with regulated operations transmission records including traceable, verifiable and complete compliance.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate accurate records for compliance.
- Represent the company on required regulatory reports for facilities.
- Ensures that applicable designs are functional, economically viable, safe, and comply with DOT regulations documented in CFR 192.
- Supervise and develop employees, sets departmental and individual performance goals and initiates. Review performance and coaches where improvement needed. Provides opportunities for employee development and promotion. Oversee training of new employees to ensure each receives the appropriate training.
- Meets with customers, employees, regulatory agencies and other management as required and has the authority to make decisions for the company in such meetings.
- Coordinate to ensure open communication with Gas Operations Regions and others.
- Monitor and approve monthly reports including expense accounts, cost center reports, IBuy, SAP approvals and time reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and manages the budget for the organization reporting to this position.
- Provide documentation, detailed specifications and reports to customers, contractors and others.
Your background includes:
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Requires a minimum of five (5) years in gas distribution or transmission design or integrity work or related experience and a minimum of one year of supervisory experience. Requires at least one year of experience supporting projects, processes and/or teams with responsibility to communicate (orally and in writing) with those in management level or higher roles.
- A Professional Engineer license.

- Able to keep informed on and comply with all DOT and OSHA Federal Regulations.
- Able to represent company in trade association groups, at political functions and in customer meetings.
- Able to provide and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Able to comply with all company driver safety policy requirements.
