Hamon Overhead Door Co. Inc. is interviewing skilled tradesmen located in the SLO north county area. We are a 55 year old, professional full-service overhead garage door company located on the central coast that services the businesses and homeowners from San Simeon to Santa Barbara from two office locations. We specialize in prompt Residential Sectional Garage Door and Automatic Opener Installation / Repair / and Service, Commercial / Industrial Overhead / Rolling Doors and Operators.

Job Description:
Overhead Door Technician (residential - commercial construction knowledge / mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred) -

We will provide trade-specific training to:
Install, repair, replace, and maintain residential / commercial sectional and rolling overhead door garage doors, automatic opener - access control products and all associated hardware for new construction and retrofit projects.

This is not a subcontracted position. With proven knowledge and experience we pay hourly compensation with opportunities for overtime. Included is a full benefits package that covers employee health, dental, eye care insurance, paid sick time, holiday and vacation pay, and with appropriate qualifications, a company vehicle to drive to and from work depending on home location.

Excellent work ethic, good communication, organizational and technical thinking skills are required. Must have valid California Drivers License free from violations. Personal hand tools required.

Special Requirements:

Good DMV with less than 3 points and no DUI.

Physically and mentally capable of working outdoors and lifting and carrying 75+ lbs.

No felony convictions.

Capable of staying out of town two or three nights per week on occasion.

Show up time 7:30 AM with 9 to 10 hour work days 5 days per week – daily attendance and punctuality is critical to continued employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
