The Center for Children (CFC) is seeking a positive, motivated Full-Time Therapist for our Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Program in our Annapolis, MD (Anne Arundel County) office.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The full-time Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Program Therapist is responsible for providing quality in-home therapy as outlined by the FFT evidence-based practices. This is a full-time exempt position, reporting to the FFT Program Site Supervisor and FFT Program Coordinator.

• Schedule - 40-hour work week, typically Monday - Friday, including at least two evenings per week to meet scheduling needs of clients.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide in-home therapy services as required by the program.
• Meet and maintain a full case load of 12-15 families.
• Utilize and provide Functional Family Therapy (FFT) as indicated by the National model.
• Maintain accurate and complete progress notes on the Clinical Service System (CSS) on the FFT National Website.
• Complete notes within 36 hours from session time.
• Submit monthly data collection in a timely manner.
• Carry a cell phone when working to respond to calls from staff/clients.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED

• Master’s degree in Human Health Services related field.
• Maryland State Social Work or Professional Counselor Licensure (LCPC, LGSW, etc.).
• Must obtain and maintain your own professional liability insurance policy.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Successfully complete State and Federal background investigation and drug test.

DESIRED

• Functional Family Therapy experience is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided!
• 1+ year of experience as licensed social worker or professional counselor, preferred.
• 1+ year experience working with children and families, preferred.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Good writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of cultural diversity.
• Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
