Full-time Parts Associate Position

The role of the Parts Associate at M&R Power Equipment is to assist in selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. As a Parts Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service to all customers and assist in stocking and organization of parts equipment.

Qualifications:

· MS Office and other computer knowledge preferred

· Accurate and consistent data-entry skills

· Prior knowledge of small engine and two-cycle equipment

· High-school diploma

Responsibilities:

· Accurately enter customer and product information into business systems

· Receive and process payments

· Assist in inventory audits

· Promote and sell products and/or services to meet customer needs

· Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required

· Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays

· Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing inventory in their proper locations

· Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly

· Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Parts Manager

· Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and making sure all vehicles are in good working order

Measures of Performance:

The following will be used to evaluate the performance of the Parts Associate. Management objectives may be assigned to further measure and reward top performance.

• Regularly meet performance targets, while consistently maintaining cleanliness/organization of facilities

• On time performance, work ethic, and quality of Personal Development Plans

• Ability to lead by example

• Provides accurate updates and reports to Parts Manager as requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
