Freedom Boat Club is an international leader in owning and franchising Boat Clubs since 1989. We have over 350+ franchised locations in addition to 100+ corporate owned boat clubs in operation throughout North America and Europe. We are seeking a tech savvy individual with accounts receivable experience to join our Accounting Team! This role is responsible for monitoring our accounts receivable and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and initiating collections on accounts that are past due.

The main responsibilities of this position are as follows:

· Maintain accurate records in Quickbooks, updating the records frequently

· Communicate with members to request payment and arrange payment plans

· Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into Quickbooks

· Create reports and analyze data

· Interpret data to identify trends, make recommendations, and propose solutions for more efficient AR processes

· Provide proactive customer communication regarding delinquent accounts

· Update member accounts with changes to personal or payment information

· Manage a high volume of transactions and accounts

 

The requirements and skills needed for this position are as follows:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable using QuickBooks and Excel

· Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and multi-tasking skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed with ability to meet established deadlines

· Must be well organized, analytical, detail oriented, and a self-starter

· Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation

· Must have a team player attitude

· Strong customer service orientation
