Sisters In Christ helps to rebuild women in whatever stage of life they are facing. We encounter women of all ages. Focus is placed on unique life experiences, trauma/crisis, addictions and psycho-social issues surrounding women and how their health is impacted. We play an important role in restoring women to wholeness through transforming their mind, body and spirit. Sisters In Christ serves as a model for the future that provides the total restoration of women by: -Providing mentoring from local business women in the My Sister My Friend program -Providing life skills training, workshops and seminars, including spiritual counseling and support - Public health awareness and education
Member Duties : Provide the support necessary for our participants to read at or above grade level and plan for a sustainable future. Lead engaging learning activities related to reading, writing, and finance management for participants in the summer program and beyond. Evaluate students progress toward reading and financial literacy. Assist with general administrative duties including grant reporting.
