JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Dining Services Supervisor, performs a variety of tasks related to food services. The primary task of the Food Service Aide is maintaining the dining room in good order (tables wiped clean, salt and pepper shakers filled and clean, napkins stocked, linens and flowers in place etc.) and greeting and assisting customers. The attendant spot sweeps and cleans the floor keeping it tidy and presentable for patrons, keeps tables and chairs together in a standard arrangement, dusts sills and ledges and keeps silverware stocked. In addition the attendant retrieves dirty tray carts from patient floors as scheduled; assists with ware washing and putting clean dishes and trays away; cleans and sanitizes carts; makes and delivers coffee and retrieves dirty trays and coffee pots from the floors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
In order to be considered for this position, applicants are required to be receiving services from a Clallam County Developmental Services provider.
Experience
Two or more years work experience in a restaurant setting preferred. Experience or training in dietary services in health care may be substituted.
Licensure/Credentials
Holds and maintains current Food Handler’s Permit. ServSafe certification preferred.
