FOOD SERVICE/ KITCHEN WORKER Part-Time - Part-Time position (12-15 hours/week) – Schedule is 4:30PM–7:00PM includes some weekends

You can make a real difference in your life and our residents’ lives. The Barron Center is a 200+ bed long-term care facility with an excellent reputation for a caring, creative work environment. We are currently looking for dedicated people to join our team.

Compensation:

• The starting rate is 14.00, with an increase based on experience.
• Additional $5.00 for each hour worked anticipated to last until June 2023 from our CARES ACT funding.

Job Description:

• General kitchen work
• Tray set-up
• Dish washing

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess valid Maine Class C driver’s license or ability to obtain within first six months of employment
• Must be able to follow oral and simple written instructions
• Must satisfy a pre-employment physical exam
• Must complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and obtain annual Flu vaccine
