JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: F&B Director

Reports to: Owner & Corporate F&B Director

Position Summary:

The F&B Director is responsible for the food and beverage front of-the-house service in both our restaurant & banquet operations. In general, the manager will hire, train, and supervise employees and apply relevant safety and marketing principles to assure the wants and needs of the guests.

Specific Job Functions:

· Assure that effective orientation and training manuals are developed and implemented. Implement all employee training.

· Develop and enforce strong communication skills between the front of the house staff and the kitchen staff, working in conjunction with the Executive Chef. Inspect and ensure safety and sanitation daily.

· Manage client relations and communicate the process and execution of events.

· Create all banquet event orders and keep organized and up to date in relevance with google calendar.

· Assure that all standard operations and cost controls are in place and enforced daily.

· Develop ideas to propose to management monthly for special events.

· Ensure that all legal requirements are consistently adhered to including federal, state, and local laws regarding employee labor and liquor laws.

· Maintain personnel records regarding proper employee files and employee disciplinary actions.

· Address all social media post in a timely fashion (no more than three days) including Yelp, Facebook, Open Table, and Google. Post all menu’s, specials, music daily to social media.

· Inventory and order products and supplies for the restaurant and banquet operations.

· Develop new season bar specials and menus.

· Monitor and enforce employee dress code.

· Provide detailed liquor inventory by the second of the month.

· Maintain a proper liquor cost under twenty percent and proper labor cost.

· Responsible for booking and managing entertainment.

· Assist with management of seasonal cabana and beverage cart operations.

· Oversee banquet setup & execution as directed by BEO’s.

· Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts.

· Monitor banquet staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.

· Monitor and handle guest complaints by using discretion to ensure guest satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
