Regional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for an individual to assist the team as a Flight Paramedic.

To serve this mission, you will be responsible for delivering care to critically ill and injured patients during transport, primarily by aircraft. The Flight Paramedic also provides patient care in the hospital according to RWMC policy.

As a RWHS Flight Paramedic, you will:

• Deliver excellent patient care according to the standards of care for paramedics, state statute, and Regional West policy
• Perform patient assessment and evaluation using accepted procedures and equipment to determine life threatening, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent medical and traumatic patient complaints
• Perform interventions based on assessment findings, following patient care protocols, and Air Link protocols in cooperation with the nurse and monitoring physician

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Completed an accredited education program for Medical Technician Paramedic, or equivalent
• Current unrestricted NE, WY, CO and SD paramedic licenses
• Current EMT Paramedic Certificates, CCEMT-P preferred
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNATC certification, or the ability to obtain within 18 months
• Three years of demonstrated pre-hospital experience with patient transport/EMS, at the paramedic level, flight experience preferred
