Position Summary

Maintains ink room responsibilities and able to produce quality product for the press department by performing the following duties. This position works rotating 12 hour rotating shifts; shifts subject to change based on business need.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
• Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
• Maintains design changes from Graphics Department.
• Creates files for designs and updates changes to current files.
• Schedules jobs in IBLEND.
• Follows and priorities jobs on press schedule.
• Produces ink and performs quality checks.
• Troubleshoots ink problems on the presses.
• Cleans ink area and puts new products away.
• Fill in as Press Assistant as needed.
• Fill in for Ink Mixer team leader as needed.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• One to three years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
