Core Duties:
*

Two years of professional accounting experience preferred, and a bachelors’ degree, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting. OR

Four years of bookkeeping experience and 18 college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation.

• Responsible for reviewing, posting, processing a variety of financial data, including provider invoices, accounts payable, basic journal entries and payroll.
• Responsible to maintain gift cards/bus tokens/and any other monetary items in file safe.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll quarterly reports, monthly general ledger reports, fiscal reports or other required reports as needed.
• Assist in the compiling of all staff time studies
• Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis.
• Responsible for answering telephones and directs all calls to appropriate staff members and greeting visitors
• Responsible to attend Children First to collect money and take attendance as required
• Filing of accounts payable invoices and related printouts, and all other forms and documents ready to be filed.
• Work with Case Manager Staff to maintain client information in the authorization system.
• Updating and maintaining insurance and audit logs.
• Maintain purchase order file.
• Assists with the monitoring contracted service providers for fiscal compliance as needed.
• Works with an independent auditing firm in completion and reporting of organizational Annual Audit and federally mandated Single County Audit requirements

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
