Be the primary contributor to FP&A processes for the company, reporting to the controller. On a daily basis you will be responsible for:
- Development of forecasts on key business metrics (revenue, inventory, etc.)
- Assist with implementation of budgeting processes and budget functionality
- Assist business units with the annual budget process, develop standard templates and processes, and provide historical trending analysis
- Responsible for tracking budget and actual expense information
- Developing and maintaining financial analysis processes and reporting needed including monthly financial variances, forecasting, costing, key metrics and trends
- Analyze results with explanations for growth and/or decline spikes, changes in trend and budget to actual variances
- Create and maintain reporting for inventory costing and COGS trends
- Participate in month-end close process
- Assist in the development of capex and fixed asset processes
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for business units as required.
Location: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska (Not eligible for fully remote)
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Hybrid work schedule
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of financial or business related analysis experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including vlookup, pivot tables, and powerquery
- Experience with data management, including data validation and auditing
- Strong communication skills; can translate data findings to various users
- Keen eye for process and a curiosity to understand how things fit together
- Consumer and or Retail ecommerce industry background preferred
- Working knowledge of our ERP, NetSuite
- Experience with or interest in SQL database querying
- Worked with BI tools and other data visualization software
