Field Maintenance Representative - Full Time - Pasadena (TX), United States

Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Field Maintenance Representative to help us take Sulzer to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Performs hands-on repairs to customer pumps at customer job sites
• Performs work, as assigned, in the designated Service Center when not at customer job site
• Supervises or assists with troubleshooting of problems, installation, assembly, or disassembly of pumps and/or seals at customer job sites
• Supervises and/or directs the work of Sulzer, contractor or customer coworkers at customer job sites
• Completes and forwards all necessary paperwork for jobs to service center Centers
• Informs service center of any potential sales activities at customer site
• Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned, including in-shop work at Sulzer Service Centers

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years’ experience with assembly of engineered, multi-stage pumps
• Three (3) years’ experience performing both supervisory and hands-on field service of engineered, multi-stage pumps at customer sites
• Strong ability to utilize technical knowledge and analytical skills to resolve problems and customer complaints
• Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and listening skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer skills with knowledge of the latest Microsoft software
• Machinist experience is a plus
• Familiarity with machine shop practices is a plus
