What You Will Be Doing
The Field Application Engineer is responsible for guiding our customers through the configuration of hardware and software tools and:
- Creating technical documentation for internal teams, customers, and partner companies
- Technical support/training for customers/partners via web conferencing or on-site support as needed
- Creating product demonstrations for customer/partner training, as well as conferences/trade fairs
- Configuration of hardware/software tools for customer use; advice/strategy on any testing methodologies or debugging as needed
What You Need for this Position
A Bachelor's degree in IT or Electrical Engineering or the equivalent of 3 years of work/education experience and:
Bonus if you have it:
- Firm understanding of embedded processors and microcontroller architecture
- Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- C/C++, Python
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while providing complex technical support
- Software development tools (debug, trace, software modeling, timing analysis)
- Knowledge of embedded operating systems/software stacks
- Experience with technical presentations and technical documentation
- Ability to travel as needed (~10-20%)
Bonus if you have it:
- AUTOSAR
- Embedded Linux
- Fluent in German and/or Spanish
