Cameo Consulting Group, LLC a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking qualified and available HR Staffing Specialists to provide Support Services to a prospective Federal client in Washington, D.C. The positions are long-term, 100% remote, and available upon contract award. MUST have Federal Experience!
General Duties:
- Acknowledge recruitment requests received and consult with the government HR staff regarding position requirements.
- Review applicant qualifications in accordance with published OPM qualification standards.
- Provide referral lists of highly qualified candidate for a variety of occupations and grade levels using USA Staffing
- Process all applications received through the USA Staffing system, to include recruitments posted by the government or the contractor.
- Verify candidates’ claims of eligibility under the Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP) and the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP).
- Review documentation and adjudicate veterans’ preference prior to assignment of preference on the final referral list.
- Verify minimum qualification requirements for all candidates referred for consideration. Minimum qualifications are determined by closely reviewing the candidates’ supporting documentation (i.e., resumes and/or transcripts) and verifying they possess the minimum level of education and/or experience.
- Perform quality reviews of all candidates to be referred, to ensure their final ratings accurately reflect their possession of the critical competencies for the specific position and adjust ratings where appropriate to ensure high-quality referral lists.
- Issue competitive, merit promotion, excepted service, and/or non-competitive certificates/referral lists electronically in accordance with merit system principles and delegated examining
- Provide written notification to all applicants at the key touch points in the application process (application received, application assessed for qualifications, and application referred/not referred) and answer applicant inquiries about the application procedures.
- Audit returned certificates and send disposition notices to non-selected candidates.
- Maintain examining case files, including job analysis documentation, in accordance with the Government records retention schedule.
- Respond to inquiries from stakeholders regarding staffing actions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 5 years of directly related Federal experience
- Delegated Examining (DE) Certification preferred.
- Must pass a background check
