Facility Manager/Maintenance Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Facility Manager / Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day facilities and building systems repair and maintenance, safety and security. This individual will perform and oversee routine janitorial tasks, general repairs, preventative maintenance, project management, capital improvements.

Responsibilities for the Facility Manager / Maintenance Supervisor include:

• Assess and repair facility issues including but not limited to painting, drywall, minor electrical, general plumbing, and HVAC
• Ensure all repairs and services are prioritized, tracked, completed correctly and on schedule
• Responsible for grounds maintenance, basic snow removal and management of icy conditions
• Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance inspections
• Act as the facility contact for all facility maintenance, safety and security related issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for the Facility Manager / Maintenance Supervisor include:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel and email
• Excellent English communication skills both spoken and written
• At least 4 years experience in performing building maintenance, including painting, dry wall repair, carpentry, HVAC, general plumbing, minor electrical and snow removal
• Personal, reliable transportation
• Living in local area and familiarity with local vendors and contractors highly preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
