Job description
Now hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician at a company just outside of Denver, CO. This position will perform general labor, basic repairs, preventative maintenance and light janitorial duties.
Monday – Friday, 6 AM – 3:30 PM
$21- $23/hour DOE
Job Duties may include:
- Assist with all laboratory and office moves and new equipment installations.
- Perform basic plumbing and carpentry repairs.
- Use maintenance and asset tracking software to document records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.
- Attend training for First Aid CPR/AED and other training as required.
- Assist in response to facility emergency events and serve as a team member on various response teams.
- May require after hours response to emergencies.
- Light janitorial duties.
- Convey information clearly and concisely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to assemble and dissemble mechanical components.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to climb and work from ladders.
- Current driver’s license.
- Eligible to be fork truck certified.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with asset tracking and maintenance software is desirable, not required.
- Basic knowledge of fire and electrical codes is desirable, not required.
