REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to read standard and metric tape measure

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level is determined in the company's employee handbook

SAFETY COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT: Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employers safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel

Responsibilities

• Employee will comply with all safety and quality guidelines on machinery and in the workplace
• Keep the area clean and neat at all times.
• Willing to work a variety of hours necessary to meet customer demand.
• Ability to distinguish colors
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Prefer one to three years related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form
• Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
• Ability to count and measure equipment
• Be adequately cross trained in various functions on small hydraulic machines
• Required to understand the differences between operating small hydraulic die stations, such as notch, mash, saw, presses
• Cross training required in the general category and one machine in the specialty category
• Complete daily paperwork 4
• Understand and be able to maintain accurate inventory 5
• Perform operator daily PM on tools and equipment
• May be required to operate fork truck
