This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our office locations.

The Experience Analyst (Legal Matter Database Manager) will be responsible for the collection, creation, maintenance, and reporting of the firm’s experience to effectively attract and engage new clients, as well as to communicate client successes and secure new business from existing clients. The role serves as a key member of the Client Development Operations Team, which is responsible for strategic oversight of the client development technology ecosystem. Essential job functions include:

  • Alongside the firm’s Client Development Technology Administrator, support the effort to rollout experience management to a wider audience with a particular focus on researching, collecting, editing, inputting, and reporting on timely and accurate data related to the capabilities of the firm’s legal professionals.
  • In close coordination with the Client Success Managers, support each of the firm’s strategic business units (SBUs) by researching, drafting, and maintaining accurate and compelling experience narratives, and building custom reports/exports, as needed.
  • Closely collaborate with the PR Team, Proposal Team, and Legal Operations Team to strategically capture and report on experience data, including from RFP responses, ranking submissions, matter narratives and pricing narratives.
  • Research matters and clients to complete profiles by utilizing available resources, such as matter surveys, internal systems, third-party legal data companies (Bloomberg, Lexis, WestlawEdge, CNS, Pacer/Courtlink/Docket Alarm, etc.), and attorney interviews.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improvement within the system database as well as the existing data collection processes and workflows.
  • Prepare standard metrics reporting and related analysis to measure the quality and quantity of data maintained within the experience management platform. Audit data and perform cleanup to maintain accurate and relevant data.
  • Provide user-end training and non-technical support as needed.
  • Keep abreast of new product features and updates, identifying, as applicable, opportunities to improve the processes and/or user experience of the firm’s instance of Foundation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience preferably in the legal industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent project management skills; capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The full time base annual salary for this position in the Denver, CO market is expected to range between $53,000- $78,000, in Los Angeles the market is expected to range between $61,000 - $90,000, and in Oakland the market is expected to range between $62,000 - $91,000. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
