Position: Executive Recruiter – Corporate Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for senior-level positions within our organization – specifically with a focus on our corporate support units. On a day to-day perspective, this role will be responsible for lead generation, network building, profile targeting and building of a brand for the support units in which they support. In support of the organizations goals of attracting top talent from both active and passive candidates, this role will frequently plan and execute on various networking activities (including attendance of industry events) to penetrate the passive talent community. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to find the best candidates.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Source, attract, and recruit top talent for senior-level positions within the organization
  • Orchestrate confidential hires by using non-public facing tools and techniques
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Build relationships and branding to the extent that this role primarily hires candidates extracted from their network and sourcing activities – and only from a job board application as an exception.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including direct sourcing, social media, and professional networks, to identify and engage with passive candidates
  • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including telephone and virtual interviews, to assess fit and interest
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and facilitate the interview process
  • Negotiate job offers and manage the offer process to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in executive recruitment and bring new ideas and approaches to the team
  • Frequent travel to support the expansion of your network
  • Develop process methods and strategies for recruitment efforts to reach and exceed metrics
  • Responsible for the full cycle hiring process from application; to processing; to interviewing; to placement
  • Measure and track the effectiveness of recruiting sources and make recommendations for improvement and efficiency
  • Responsible for accurate and thorough data entry into ATS system regarding customer and candidate job information notes and details
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in executive recruiting, with a primary focus on head-hunting/sourcing
  • Experience sourcing talent within the anticipated support groups is a plus:
    • IT
    • Legal
    • Accounting/Finance
    • HR
  • Strong understanding of executive search methodologies and sourcing techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Conversation starter without introduction
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Desire for a long-term career with an industry leading company
  • Experience using an ATS and CRM system and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Must have a personal vehicle and valid Driver’s License
  • Strong ability to build rapport and network effectively
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced/high volume sales environment
  • Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Recruiting/Sales experience
