The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef for our Commissary for Constellation Culinary Group in Long Island City Queens.. As an executive chef of the commissary you will support our professional dining segment and catering. This role will generally be Sunday - Thursday.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
- Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
- Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
What We are Looking For:
Must Have's
- At least 6 years in a Culinary Manager role
- Serv Safe Certified
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong understanding of food and labor cost controls
Nice to Have's
- Culinary Degree
