Job Summary: A Journeyman Electrician repairs and maintains electrical equipment related to manufacturing equipment and circuits installed within our facilities. These include automated production machinery, cranes, lighting, breaker panels, and MCC switchgear.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current Oregon Electrical License
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical troubleshooting and repairs production machinery
• Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems
• Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment
• Assists with safety system upgrades of equipment

• Troubleshoots complex automated machinery
• Uses Temperature Controllers, PLC’s, HMI’s and Frequency Drives
• Responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems,
• Uses knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations, codes and ordinances pertaining to work, safety practices, safe work methods and safety regulations
• Cooperates and contributes to the creation of a safe, secure, and healthy working environment and to the achievement of the company’s environmental obligations and goals
