EHS Manager - Chemicals

The role involves the following:

Developing and manufacturing industrial additives in batches (some continuous) at a chemical production facility in St. Louis.

Currently, this plant has 250 employees and is looking for an EHS Manager to oversee, manage, and improve its environmental, health, and safety initiatives.

You will supervise three or more EHS coordinators and specialists.

Your work will focus on overall EHS management systems site-wide, as well as PSM and Process Safety programs. You will ensure that the site is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

The Plant Manager and EHS corporate will work closely with you to develop goals, objectives, and plans.

The minimum requirements are as follows:

• Applicants with a B.S. in Environmental, Chemical, or Safety Engineering will be considered
• Manufacturing experience with 10+ years of EHS work
• A Chemical and PSM regulatory environment background is required
• Experience leading and supervising EHS teams for more than 5 years
• Exposure to industrial hygiene, PSM, RMP, PHAs, emergency response, and ISO is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $132,386.00 - $150,000.00 per year
