Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for an Early Childhood Special Educator for the 2023-24 school year. Must have, or be eligible to receive, a Colorado teaching license with an early childhood special education endorsement. The teacher is responsible for designing and delivering special education services to preschool age students, evaluating student achievement, and collaborating with other teachers within the program. Must be a good communicator with the ability to design activities that promote social, physical and intellectual growth in young children. Exact placement on the pay schedule can only be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 15 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 16, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels.
