Almac Group is currently seeking a
Distribution Supervisor for our
Durham, NC location. The Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution warehouse and processes.
7:30AM-4PM
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with the Distribution Team and Production team on all shipping/receiving inventory
Oversee the processing and distribution of clinical materials to specified locations worldwide according to approved procedures.
Supervise the Distribution process operators and Sr. Distribution process operators
Evaluate procedures and make recommendations as needed (includes reviewing and writing SOPs).
Ensure personnel are accountable for their work.
Investigate Distribution related discrepancies/queries and write or assist with writing a Technical Query/Quality Incident
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- High School or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years work experience in a distribution role
- Understanding of the warehouse & distribution processes
GMP and/or GDP
Preferred Experience / Education:
- Undergraduate degree
- Logistics Experience
- Warehouse Experience
- Supervisory Experience
- Strong international logistics knowledge
