Description:

• PRN - Non-Benefited
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Protection Services Department
• This position reports to Parking Supervisor
• Driver will need to have necessary skills to operate a 15-passenger van in heavy traffic.

Responsibilities:

• Driver will need to possess excellent people skills and the ability to get along well with passengers.
• Will be required to do routine checks such as oil and water on all security vehicles.
• Must be able to articulate that they understand Maryland traffic regulations.
• Must possess ability to clearly communicate location and departure/arrival times over the phone.

What you will need:

• Must have a valid Maryland Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must have clean driving record that demonstrates the ability to operate a vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.
• Must pass the certification in shipping infectious substances/dangerous goods course within the first 2 days of orientation.
• Must pass the medication security health stream course.
• Must wear a HCH uniform.
• Must possess and operate a cell phone
