Pyramid Healthcare is a national leader in Behavioral Healthcare. We operate a residential treatment center in Newport News for adults with Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health concerns. We are currently seeking Drivers to support our daily operations in Newport News. Our Drivers are an integral component in providing care and allowing for access of care for our consumers. Frequently, our Driver is the first person from our facility to be face to face with our consumers. This creates a very rewarding and fulfilling role for our Drivers.

Our Full Time employees are eligible for our employee health, dental and vision plan. Our drivers use company cars, and are provided with company gas cards so there is no need to worry about the wear and tear on your vehicle and the soaring gas prices or waiting on reimbursements!

Our starting base wage for this role is $15 USD per hour and we offer an $8 a shift meal reimbursement.

Description:

• Transport clients to and from specified regional locations
• Supervise clients while transporting
• Fulfill housekeeping duties at specified locations when not transporting
• Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
• Ability to respond to emergency situations
• Ability to work alone
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of force, if necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Background:

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• Experience preferred, but not required
• Team player; confidentiality; safety; excellent communication skills; effective interpersonal relationships
• Maintain a safe driving record
• Participates in company offered training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills
