About us

Mount Sinai Hospital Resale Shop is a small business in Chicago, IL. Our goal is to raise money to support Sinai Health Systems goals of improving the health of the individuals and communities it serves.

Mount Sinai Resale is looking for experienced individuals to join our team who can fulfill our store's goals and values. These associates will be in charge of greeting customers, loading and unloading donations, moving furniture and maintaining store cleanliness. The right candidates will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be self-starters and work well both individually and as part of a larger team. This position involves lifting, moving and carrying items of varying sizes and weights, so an interest in fitness and physical activity is ideal. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience moving and loading furniture.

Responsibilities:

• Customer service
• Greet and open doors for customers
• Check bags
• Help customers load and unload items
• Unload donations neatly
• Place incoming furniture, extract outgoing furniture
• Locate and fix safety hazards, practice safe lifting and stacking
• Communication, awareness and teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
