The Distribution Services Support Specialist (Ecommerce) position is responsible for receiving materials and products, maintaining an accurate inventory database, generating reports and conducting periodic cycle counts. Responsibilities include pulling, verifying, packing and shipping, inventory, daily oversight and year-end reconciliation. Process sales requests for ministry materials in The Ruth’s Attic At The Billy Graham Bookstore warehouse. Ruth’s Attic At The Billy Graham Bookstore Fulfilment Coordinator will pull material and process products and orders for shipping. Accuracy and timeliness of inventory are essential. This position requires using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.

Distribution Services is located on the campus of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association headquarters and occupies approximately 15,000 sq.ft. in a fast-paced production and mail handling environment serving all ministry areas of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. BGEA Distribution Services provides multifaceted printing, mailing and order fulfillment services. Responsibilities also include shipping and receiving of materials, controlling larger quantities of inventory while supporting multiple ministry platforms.

From its headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association directs a wide range of domestic and international ministries, including: large-scale festivals led by evangelists Franklin Graham and Will Graham; The Billy Graham Library; The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, Blue Ridge Broadcasting which houses The Light FM located outside of Asheville, N.C.; SearchforJesus.net, an Internet evangelism project reaching thousands of people for Christ online; and many others through print, television, telephone, radio and the Internet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull and pack product for fulfillment of non-identical mailings using appropriate USPS, FEDEX or UPS standards.

• Process Orders in Magento or approved POS System. Requests and track open Purchase Orders, using BGEA Internal Inventory System, Serenic/Magento
• Inspects all transferred items for damages, counting the box contents to ensure quantities of transferred items are correct.
• Enter all inventory material into the BGEA Internal Inventory System, Serenic/Magento, creating a document name, using the specified guidelines and procedures.
• Verify incoming Transfers according to Transfer Documents and update documents, based on quantity, quality, etc.
• Enter parcel delivery information in receiving-log database to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Maintain clear, continuous communication with the Warehouse and Events Supervisor
• Cross train and assist with the daily operations of Distribution Services, as needed

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities

• Accept incoming Transfers, remove merchandise and move it to appropriate area of warehouse. Log shipments, complete/forward paperwork in a timely manner and file paperwork as assigned
• Load, unload and move products and materials, manually or using material- handling equipment
• Perform related duties such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking various products and materials
• Open containers, verifying received orders, assist in the filling of orders, assist in inventory, weighing and checking various items
• Navigate and receive materials in Serenic/Magento. Look up Item numbers to determine their proper warehouse and bin locations
• Maintain clear, continuous communication with the Warehouse and Events Supervisor
• Cross train and assist with the daily operations of Distribution Services, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

• Reports to Warehouse and Events Supervisor
• Works closely with Distribution Services staff and BG Employees
• Has no supervisory responsibilities

Skills and Knowledge

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to proficiently and accurately follow all Distribution Services and appropriate USPS procedures. Warehouse shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Proficient in Receiving and Shipping processes.
• Good aptitude with numbers with accuracy
• Experience with or capacity to acquire a thorough understanding of BGEA’s financial systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Datahaven
• Prior experience working in a production environment recommended
• Ability to clearly communicate with others from all departments and ministries, handling frequent interruptions
• Experience with or capacity to thoroughly utilize Microsoft Office suite, with particular strength in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with or capacity to thoroughly utilize all necessary mail processing equipment
• Ability to relate to people well, being approachable, as well as have the ability to manage administrative tasks simultaneously

Working Conditions

• Work is typically performed in a warehouse environment with loading docks and material handling equipment

• Overtime may be required, as needed
