Wirthwein Fountain Inn, LLC. is hiring a Director of Sales and Project Management U.S. In this position, you will be responsible for both Wirthwein plants in the US, Fountain Inn (SC) and New Bern (NC).
Function of the position:
  • Active sales of products and solutions for the industry in order to increase market shares by carving out clear customer benefits.
  • Acquire new and manage existing customers and gain new projects.
  • Professional and disciplinary lead and management of the Regional Sales Management teams in the respective country.
Tasks:
  • Identify potential customers and develop networks by considering customer needs.
  • Identify and develop new markets.
  • Observe market trends and analyze markets, customers and competition in order to develop market strategies.
  • Prepare sales planning (short-term, medium-term, long-term) in consideration of margin and sales targets.
  • Guarantee sales targets and implement sales strategies by intensive market cultivation.
  • Regional responsibility for the offer strategy (products, costs, etc.) in cooperation with the Global Key Account Manager or Director Business Unit.
  • Handle new requests and amendment requests.
  • Create, negotiate and release offers and amendment quotations in cooperation with the Global Key Account Manager or Director Business Unit.
  • Create calculations and request all relevant departments and subsidiaries.
  • Guarantee optimal product development by involving subsidiaries.
  • Take over representative tasks at trade fairs.

Expertise generally:

Professional experience:
  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, further training as technician or comparable training with working experience in Sales of technical demanding products and solutions in the industry
  • Several years of working experience in a comparable position advantageous
  • Several years of working experience in the respective business unit advantageous
  • Experience in leadership advantageous
