They will need to thoroughly understand our business strategy across all partner and consumer lines-of-business, and effectively collaborate across the leadership team, to support the development and successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
To succeed in this role, this person must bring strong strategic thinking, problem solving, prioritization, and execution expertise. Strong executive level communications skills will also be important, and while deep product experience would be very helpful, it is not required. Harnessing the expertise from operators on the team and facilitate better insights and recommendations will be an important capability.

Overview:
The Director, Product Strategy will be a trusted advisor to the Chief Product Officer and the Product executive team. They will engage on a wide range of strategic and operational projects on behalf of Product leadership team, including responsibility to support/facilitate the development and accountability for annual goal setting and KPI progress. This is a direct report to the CPO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Special Projects
This person must have the ability to drive a wide range of strategic projects for Product Executives that require leveraging consultative skillset to define the problem/issue, develop analyses or frameworks for assessment, and drive to clear conclusions and next steps. They must have the ability to use data and analytics to tell a compelling story to drive strategies forward.
- The specific projects will constantly evolve but will vary based on certain dimensions like company-wide vs. line-of-business specific, qualitative vs. quantitative or a mix, strategic vs. operational.
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Support Product Executives in creating, developing, and tracking Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s)
- Develop and facilitate accountability processes to ensure delivery of Key Results
- Support Product executives on an ad hoc basis on to translate strategic goals into inputs to an annual operating plan
