Scope of Position
The Director, Peripheral Vascular is involved in every aspect of the patient encounter process, from the initial consultation through post-procedure discharge and follow-up. This individual shall work closely with the entire Peripheral Vascular team consisting of Peripheral Vascular interventionalists, CV surgeons, mid-level providers, and nursing staff. Along with performing clinical tasks, the Director shall serve as liaison between patient, physician, hospital, and office. The Director is responsible to ensure that referrals are accurately triaged and assigned to the appropriate sub-specialists and that Peripheral Vascular patient interactions in the clinic are performed accurately, timely, and according to high clinical standards.

Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited Nursing school. Three to five years experience caring for cardiovascular patients. Experience in OR or cath lab setting helpful. Good organizational and computer skills. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision. Excellent leadership skills
Valid and active RN licensure in appropriate state. AHA BLS required. ACLS required
