REDCON1 hiring a Director of Accounting in Boca Raton, FL.

As a Director of Accounting, you will be responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements as well as management of the day-to-day operations of the Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Accounting Staff
• Prepare timely financial statements and conduct financial review and analysis.
• Manage accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Critical control, management, and analysis of inventory balances, purchases, receipts, weighted average costs, and raw materials
• Help prepare and oversee Inventory reconciliations and analysis, including documentation and coordination for the annual physical count. Help prepare the company to move to cycle counting. Recording of COGS and inventory adjustments
• Act as the primary interface with external audit firms for the annual and bank financial reviews
• Oversee open purchase orders to assist with projected cash needs.
• Oversee the services for monthly sales tax liability and tax payments using Avalara.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA License required
• 5 to 10 Years of experience including prior Controller experience
