Director - Incident Response

Location : Phoenix, United States

Mission

The Director – Incident Response is responsible for the development and delivery execution of Kudelski Security’s Incident Response services in the US. This is a unique opportunity to grow and expand a key set of services focused on helping our clients develop their cybersecurity program strategy and Incident Response programs.

Responsibilities

• Build upon the Incident Response capabilities, including the definition of capabilities, development of sales collateral, creation of delivery methodologies and templates, identification of supporting technologies and partners, and the development of training and hiring plans for the team.
• Identify improvements to business processes and methodologies.
• Deliver Incident Response projects and / or manage delivery teams within the scope of the capabilities defined for the Practices and the customer signed SOWs.
• Develop team members while balancing utilization and pipeline metrics.
  • Mentor staff and encourage a Kudelski culture.
• Drive the sales and capture activities for Incident Response capabilities and identify opportunities to deliver all of Kudelski's security offerings.
• Align with the Advisory Services team on client engagements.
• Serve as a thought leader in the industry and produce marketing materials highlighting Incident Response offerings through point of view documents, blog posts, YouTube videos, and conference presentations.

Requirements / Profile

• 10+ years of incident response and / or information security experience
• 5+ years of management and consulting experience

• Subject matter expert knowledge in the following areas: Cyber Resilience Program Development, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Privacy Regulations in relation to data breaches.
  • Understanding of key regulations and frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, NIST-CSF, HIPAA, ISO 27001/2, FFIEC, COBIT.
• Familiar with the Incident Response consulting industry, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Able to work internally and externally to drive practice level strategies and plans into execution.

• Experience leading security incident response investigations that involve computer crimes and require log, forensic, and malware analysis.

• Passionate about building new consulting practices, services and technology partnerships, and teams. Successful track record of developing and delivering security services that have exceeded expectations.
• Experience in working with enterprise clients & industry technology partners.
• Prior leadership and management experience leading direct, matrixed, and geographically dispersed teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, train, and mentor staff.
• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Master’s Degree in related field
