The role you’ll contribute:

The Strategy Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations, investigates, researches, reports and provides
solutions to cross functional strategic issues and implements organizational changes. Serves as a liaison between C-suite
and business partners and assists in the ranking and escalation of critical needs/issues. This position is also responsible for
the coordination and oversight of project management activities for the organization. Responsible for managing teams and
tools that coordinate strategy engagement and effectiveness resources which monitor and align top strategic initiatives.
This position is responsible for a wide variety of project management, template creation, and data analysis as well as
research and strategic planning. The individual will also be an active member of the Corporate Communications &
Strategy Management team.

  • Designs, develops, and implements quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex business situations including
performance, strategies, systems and solutions
  • Assists the C-Suite by providing technical assistance and guidance on the preparation, coordination, implementation,
and communication of executive actions
  • May initiate investigations of issues affecting one or more areas within the organization
  • Collaborates closely with multiple department leaders and staff during project research and planning implementation
  • Responsible for all Well 65+ Associate and Physician orientation planning such as collecting and organizing content
with subject matter experts, scheduling space and scheduling speakers to present
  • May serve as the C-Suite representative at various meetings
  • Utilizes Lean process improvement methodology to approach and solve identified problems/projects and manage the
implementation of solutions to improve workflow efficiency
  • Manages the coordination of resources for strategic projects and initiatives
  • Allocate and assign resources based on needs of organization including approval for scheduling of analyst staff paying
special attention to timeline conflicts, market load, and conflicting strategic goals
  • Provides Information/Reports/Tools delivering a comprehensive suite of strategy management tools, templates, reports,
briefs, dashboards and other products for corporate and initiative leaders and team members. Develops and/or maintains
regular updates on strategic initiative briefs, corporate services plans, marketplace business plans and other written
updates and reports to ensure information is current, aligned and value-added. Maintains the Strategy Management Arc
site to provide universal access to information and tools for the effective management of organizational strategy. Drives
proactively ways to have deeper and automated insights into strategic initiative implementation
  • Aligns Work to increase organizational awareness of the enterprise strategy framework consisting of the strategic
initiative lifecycle, corporate services planning and marketplace business planning, paying special attention to alignment
and prioritization among these three bodies of work.
  • Consults with executive, departmental and initiative leaders on the effective integration of corporate services plans with
market input and the strategic framework to ensure alignment, reduce friction, and add value to our markets. Acts as
trusted advisor to senior leaders with regards to effective project management and alignment of priorities and is able to
influence stakeholders to take action and incorporate recommendations.
  • Provides Solutions/Recommendations utilizing reports and dashboards to proactively identify opportunities for
improvement. Utilizes expertise in process improvement, operations, project and change management to offer mitigation
tools and recommend innovative solutions as opportunities are identified.
  • Supports COO and CSO: Supports the AHS Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the facilitation of Operations Council
meetings and the execution of the strategic initiatives and corporate services planning efforts. Works to develop specific
materials for Operations Council, Cabinet and other corporate meetings related to executing the initiatives and managing
corporate services planning. Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors and 5+ years exprience
2 years Leadership Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare operations
  • Experience with large multi-specialty physician group
