Job Description:
The Director of Forensic Consulting is a senior-level position that requires both a thought leader, and a person who is responsible for designing and managing difficult, and sometimes large-scale, forensic solutions. This person will act as a project lead in conducting work and managing resources to accomplish these solutions to a high degree of client satisfaction. The Director of Forensic Consulting is also a technical professional supporting sales efforts for forensics solutions including intellectual property theft/misuse, identification of PII/PHI, and other large-scale forensic data collection and analysis projects. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, operational management experience, and the ability to be a team player are essential. This person will also be responsible for staying abreast of emerging technology, designing solutions for downstream handling of data, and being a thought leader in the forensic technology space. A background that includes difficult and large-scale solution design, implementation, and management as well as client reporting, executive presentation, etc. is a must. The Director of Forensic Consulting should also be a thought leader who can prepare original content for client consumption – content that clients will find valuable in considering hiring Epiq for their toughest forensic challenges.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support and present solution offerings for prospective Epiq clients.
- Develop CLEs and presentations.
- Write thought leadership pieces around current forensic challenges.
- Solicit client business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
- Contribute to achieving area revenue targets by responding to RFIs/RFPs and assisting in proposal preparation and pricing.
- Conduct technical workshops, training, and/or demos of Epiq proprietary tools as well as commercial forensic tools and other third-party products.
- Conduct client data mapping exercises of complex network architectures with Cloud applications/storage.
- Coordinate project communication with various teams and individuals including sales, service delivery, and clients to ensure successful project start-up and that client’s requirements are fulfilled.
- Conduct internal sales training on Epiq solution offerings.
- Spearhead marketing initiatives that contribute to Epiq branding and generation of qualified leads.
Qualifications:
- A college degree is required.
- Forensic and/or industry certifications preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of forensic software as well as other technologies such as M365, Google Workspace, cloud storage, forensic analysis and data breach/misappropriation mechanisms is required.
- Minimum of 15 years of industry-specific experience.
- Must have team management and leadership experience with complex projects. The ability to design complex solutions and then manage resources to achieve the solution is a key aspect of this role.
- Must possess the ability to lead and complete technical consulting tasks.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and customer service orientation.

Candidates based in California, Colorado, New York or Washington:
The Compensation range for this role is 118,026.90 - 236,054.40 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
