Digital Sales Assistant will support the Sales team by creating and distributing account marketing materials, managing ebook and audiobook price promotions, creating competitive analyses, and supporting the Digital Accounts team with day-to-day needs. Be part of a dynamic, innovative, hands-on team responsible for bringing HBG ebooks and audiobooks to the marketplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate ebook and audiobook price promotions, including liaising with various internal teams, maintaining promo data base, handling logistics for price promotions, attending publisher meetings to review results
- Create account marketing materials, such as regular newsletters and publicity updates for retail and library accounts
- Conduct market/competitive analysis as needed
- Assist with seasonal title presentations to accounts
- Send out physical and digital galleys
- Handle various digital pricing tasks
- Set up meetings, track agendas and minutes
- Assist Senior Account Managers with other tasks as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Self-motivated, hands on, enthusiastic individual with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize a must.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and comfort with PowerPoint and Outlook required.
- Strong initiative and judgment. Ability to work well independently as well as in collaborative or team environments.
- Basic understanding of and interest in any or all of the following: ebooks and/or audiobooks, digital publishing, ecommerce, consumer marketing.

The compensation for this position is $47,500. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
