The Digital Product Owner role with Associated Bank is responsible for the ownership, care, and delivery of our digital banking platform including guiding build teams in the implementation of applications and functionality at the time of implementation for our digital banking products. As a subject matter expert, the Product Owner drives focus across Product and IT by consulting and engaging with build teams and key internal partners to ensure appropriate priority of delivery, mitigate risks, and resolve roadblocks. This person will:

  • Create and review initial projects, perform additional research and analysis to add detail and dependencies, and review and approve relevant processes and procedures.

  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories, process issues, and enhancements to deliver exceptional internal and external customer experience.

  • Engage with stakeholders to define and implement end-user testing and concept validation, gain insights and identify customer needs and solutions, and lead product backlog grooming sessions, PI and sprint planning events, and stand-ups.

  • Establish and manage accountability for objectives and key results, and act as a gatekeeper to meeting the "definition of done" for each sprint or project phase.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or Technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
  • 3-5 years product ownership experience. Required
  • Product management, product design, and/or software or application development experience (preferred).
  • CSPO, SAFe, or POPM certification (preferred).
