Diesel Truck Mechanic, 2nd Shift.
8 Hour Shift- Start Time Flexible between 10:00AM though 1:00PM.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on mostly Peterbilt trucks
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments, to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Troubleshoot and repair complex issues related to engine, transmission, cooling systems, and other vital components
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and develop effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies
- Collaborate with the fleet manager to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, including attending training seminars and workshops as needed

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, specifically with Peterbilt trucks
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational training preferred
- ASE certification in diesel mechanics or equivalent credentials
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic: 5 years (Required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
- DOT Regulation: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- ASE Certification (Required)
- CDL (Preferred)
