As a DevSecOps Technical Architect, the ideal candidate will own the design and implementation of the DevSecOps roadmap as well as the creation of relevant frameworks globally across Trane Technologies. In addition, they will oversee the architectural design, implementation projects and/or pilots aimed at accelerating the pace of custom delivery across our ERP, Cloud, Middleware and Data and Analytics platforms. This is a Remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Champion the DevSecOps value proposition and evangelize across the enterprise.
• Architect DevSecOps processes that enable continuous delivery and deployment of software across our Oracle, Middleware, Cloud and Data and Analytics technological stacks, including the design and creation of pipelines to support code development, testing and deployment.
• Determine strategies and solutions to enhance technology capabilities that accelerate the pace of IT delivery.
• Mentor junior DevSecOps Engineers in the design and development of DevSecOps processes.
• Interact with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and external vendors to understand their requirements and furnish them with the necessary infrastructure and tools to support their work.
• Stay up to date with advancements and trends in Oracle, Middleware, GCP, GitHub, DevSecOps and cloud computing.
• Ensure the security and compliance of the platform, including implementing and maintaining security controls and conducting regular audits and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Demonstrated DevSecOps architecture experience in one or more of the following platforms: Oracle, Oracle Cloud, Middleware, AWS and GCP.
• Record of accomplishment in the design and software development area focusing on DevSecOps.
• Initiative-taker with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• 5+ years’ experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as GitHub, Cloud Build, and Terraform.
• Well versed in application and server monitoring.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Exposure to developing automation tools and scripts to help streamline the software delivery process.
• Solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to learn modern technologies quickly.
• Validated experience mentoring and improving the effectiveness and efficiencies of IT Technical teams.
• Deep understanding of security and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities.

Base Pay Range: $138,750 – $183,750.

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
